Dr. Mrzljak's foremost concern is her patients' total wellness. Noninvasive treatments are used whenever possible. After conservative measures are exhausted, surgical procedures may be considered.
The following procedures may be performed in the office under local anesthesia and, if necessary, with mild oral sedation:

- Removal of a variety of skin lesions, benign and malignant.
- Removal of nasal polyps.
- Removal of accessible salivary stones.
- Procedures to reduce snoring.
- Injection of vocal cords with biocompatible filler in carefully selected cases.
- Nasal turbinate reduction.

Cosmetic Procedures
- Reduction of nasal fractures.
- Upper eyelid blepharoplasty.
- BOTOX® injection to improve wrinkles caused by excessive contraction of facial muscles.
- Facial contouring using fillers, such as Restylane® and Radiesse®.

More complex procedures are done in the hospital under general anesthesia or conscious sedation. Dr. Mrzljak prefers to use Alexandria INOVA Hospital  , but is also on the staff of the Springfield Surgery Center and Fairfax Hospital .
